The Giants' terrific opening duo KL Rahul & Quinton de Kock have been absolute throughout the season and in their last match, these duo possibly broke every opening partnership record they could by smashing 210 for NO LOSS against KKR but sadly LSG has been highly dependent on this duo and their bankable #3, D Hooda. The rest of the experienced order is failing and none of them have been consistent. LSG needs to find a way to get away from this haunting scene in the match. 

The selection of Playing 11 is going to be nerve-wrenching. The team chooses to go for E Lewis in place of K Pandya and K Gowtham in place of D Chameera so Krunal can replace M Vohra but they need to decide where who takes that overseas slot - the batter or the bowler!

The team which once lacked quality bowling is now ruling the field with ultra-strong quality bowlers and hands down the best and good turnaround by the management to strengthen the bowling squad after already having a good batting squad. The team's new selection (D Karthik / ABD and W Hasaranga / Y Chahal) has been proved to be a blessing and not a regretting one. The newcomers have filled in the shoes wonderfully.

This match is either showing a route to the team(s) of either home or Ahmedabad (Q-2 & Final) and in this important match, the inconsistency of the top order can be a bit scary and to work on. Faf and Virat as an opening pair too haven't played their best in the powerplay and because of that pressure makes its way to the middle order.
