North London is home to the 100-ball cricket squad known as The London Spirit. The Hundred, which occurred for the first time during the English and Welsh cricket seasons of 2021, featured players from the traditional counties of Middlesex, Essex, and Northamptonshire. Both the men's and women's teams are based at Lord's.

The London Spirit News and Squad
The first player chosen in the draw for the London Spirit was Sussex all-rounder Ravi Bopara, who was followed by Hampshire spinner Chris Wood. There were two spots open in the men's team. Team has included players like Ben McDermot, Glenn Maxwell, Kieron Pollard, Nathan Ellis, Josh Inglis; these overseas players bring a lot of winning chances for the team.
After missing last year, Maxwell is back, but the entire international contingent has altered. The departure of Roelof van der Merwe, who left after seven not out innings totaling 77 runs at a strike rate of 132.75 and five wickets in 20 sets of his left-arm darts, was perhaps the most unexpected development. Chris Wood, who was fired but is now back, and what appear to be astute additions in Thompson, Bell-Drummond, Smith, and Dawson.
