Northern Superchargers Squad Information
Ben Stokes is not available for the first few matches.
Faf du Plessis is one of the best batters in T20 cricket, was forced to sit out last year's tournament with a concussion but is back for 2022 as a captain. Northern Superchargers are certainly not lacking in this department. Adam Hose, who missed out on the inaugural tournament due to a foot injury, is enjoying something of a T20 purple patch. Faf's innings is going to be an anchor role. The finisher, David Wiese is the obvious candidate. While they have plenty of options to occupy the role of finisher, a Tim David (Southern Brave) or Andre Russell (Manchester Originals) type player would give their strong batting line-up that extra spark.Depending on how many options they want with the ball, Northern Superchargers also risk lining up with a lengthy tail. That said, it looks to be a significantly strong batting line-up than last year.
When the bowling side is concerned, Rashid Khan and Callum Parkinson are going to be the biggest bowling assets for the team. Last year, Northern Superchargers struggled a lot with their bowling performance, but this year they need to find a way out and deal with their opponent's batting line-up.
Northern Superchargers are going to play their First match of the season against Manchester Originals in Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester on 5th August. And Northern Superchargers are going to play their home matches in Sophia Gardens, Cardiff.
We will be covering all the matches of this edition of the Hundred for you so look no further and start Betting on The Hundred.
