The Delhi Capitals have been a very indifferent side in the IPL. They were IPL semi finalists in the inaugural season, then in 2012 and then last year. This year though, things seem better than last year.
They have Ricky Pointing as their head coach and Shreyas Iyer as their captain. They have a foreign cabinet to envy and the likes of Shimron Hetmyer, Anrich Nortje, Alex Carey and so on with a strong Indian cabinet at the forefront.
This year too, like last year, Delhi capitals look favourites for the playoffs, but obviously, the mental barrier has to conquered to overcome the game on that day.
