Our India Bet support team often has many requests to know exactly how our leaderboard points are calculated.  So here I am to try and explain to everyone how things work and how to ensure you get the best possible position in the leaderboards.

Before I start I am not going to give the exact formula for working out how many points are due each day, this could lead to certain users falsely getting to the top of the leaderboards by betting with the formula in mind.  Our leaderboards are primarily about fun not about finding strategies to bet solely to win them.

Daily points are calculated once per day around 6am IST (this processes the previous days data), this is because multiple games sometimes happen on the same day and all should be included in your points.  This means that if you do really badly in the first game, you can still increase your points by doing well in the second, or vice versa!

Remember your daily points are calculated on the date/time of settlement so if yesterdays games are settled after 6am IST today then they will not be included on the leaderboard page until tomorrow.

There are 3 main factors to determining your daily points.

ROI or Return on Investment

This is what percentage of profit you made over the entire day.  This shows us how good a sports bettor you are!

Maximum points from ROI: 150pts.

Number of bets

The number of bets on unique betting lines.  This shows us how much you like betting! There is also an ROI multiplier in play here so you cant just have 1000 losing 1 IBR bets.

Maximum points from number of bets: 100pts.

Win / Loss Ratio

Your overall ratio of wins to losses on unique betting lines.  This shows us how consistent your sports betting is.

Maximum points from win/loss ratio: 100pts.

Maximum number of daily points: 350pts

Some tips to doing well on the leaderboards

  • Be consistent, bet every day you can.  Its surprising just how many people do really well one day and do not bet the next day.
  • Betting 50 IBR is the same as betting 1000 IBR as far as leaderboards are concerned, there are no factors which use IBR amount bet to calculate points.
  • Bet In-Play if its available, this will help you increase your number of bets.

I hope this answers some of your questions, I am not willing to go into more detail on the exact forumula used but be rest assured this is a fair system and the ROI bias enables those users without huge amounts of IBR to have a fighting chance of doing well.
