One of the many stadiums located in Churchgate, the Brabourne took the place of the Gymkhana as the number one cricketing venue in Mumbai when it was built in 1937. Cricket is still played there, however the big games now are usually held at the Wankhede Stadium instead.
Despite this, during the 2010 season the the Mumbai Indians used the Brabourne as their home ground. Located on Marine Drive, the stadium has a 30,000 seat capacity.
