As one of the newest stadiums in India, the PCA Stadium held it's first international test in 1994.
Despite it's capacity of just 30,000 the PCA hosts the Kings XI in the IPL series each year and has taken over from the historic Gandhi Stadium in Amritsar as the major international stadium in Punjab.
The Punjab Cricket Team play at the ground whilst the IPL is not on and when touring cricket teams are not visiting Punjab. The brand new stadium is well worth visiting when in Punjab.
