Raiders

India has some amazing raiding talents and we seen their skills in past Pro Kabaddi Leagues. Anup Kumar the captain will lead his team from front and will be the key raider for Indian team at Kabaddi World Cup. Rahul Chaudhary, Deepak Hooda, Pradeep Narwal, Ajay Thakur and Jasvir Singh are the other raiders along with Anup Kumar. Chaudhary was the most successful raider and also scored most raid points for Telugu Titans. Following Chaudhary, Pradeep Narwal was Season 4 winning captain and Deepak Hooda scored most raiding points in Pro Kabaddi League. Ajay Thakur was the second best player last season in Pro Kabaddi League who scored 5 Super Raids. Jasvir Singh, the man known for his aggression played well to let his team reach Pro Kabaddi Season 4 final.

Team India at the moment has raiders that can grab points against best teams playing in 2016 Kabaddi World Cup.

Defenders

Dharmaraj Cheralathan also known as "Anna" by his teammates will be the backbone of defence for India at 2016 Kabaddi World Cup. He is like a one-man army who can single handedly take raider out of the court with his powerful dash. Anna had most successful Super tackles last Pro Kabaddi Season. Mohit Chhillar and Surender Nada is most successful right-hand, left-hand corners combination for Indian Kabaddi team. They have great synchronisation on the mat and are always vigilant while raider is in their court. Nada is very strong with his ankle hold and will barely miss a chance if the raider tries to get a bonus point of his corner. Chhillar the most expensive player who was bought by Bengaluru Bulls for 53 Lakhs scored most tackles for them last season. Surjeet is also a valuable player at the defence who can perform well whenever team requires him to perform.

With support from all rounders defence would be key factor where India will score more points in Kabaddi World Cup.

All Rounders

Manjeet Chhillar is a fashion freak who started as a wrestler but ended being a best all round Kabaddi player. The player who averages 100 points in every season of Pro Kabaddi is the only player to feature among top 10 raiders and defenders. Chhillar has the ability to score in a crucial situation and lead team towards victory. Sandeep Narwal plays as an all-rounder but is very good in defence. He scores more in defence but can grab some quick points for the team in raids if required. Nitin Tomar, a very good all-rounder along with new talent Kiran Parmar will be the bench strength in all-rounder section for Indian Kabaddi Team.
